# Cart Drawer apps

### What each tool does

#### BOGOS:

* Create, run, and manage offer types: Free Gifts, Bundles, Upsell & Discounts.
* Display and manage promotion widgets: Gift sliders, bundle page, discount widget, and promotional messages.
* Apply eligibility rules: Control which customers, products, collections, or cart conditions qualify for each promotion.

#### Cart drawer app:

Provides an on-page, interactive cart experience (the slide-out or drawer) that shows current cart contents, totals, and checkout CTA without redirecting to the full cart page. It handles add/remove actions, quantity adjustments, and real-time UI updates inside the drawer.

### What the integration enables

**Seamless gift add/remove inside the drawer:**

When BOGOS auto-adds a gift or a shopper toggles a gift from the gift slider, the cart drawer reflects that change immediately (add or remove) without extra clicks or page reloads.\
\
**Consistent rule enforcement:**

Even when actions happen inside the drawer, BOGOS still enforces promotion rules (eligibility, limits, auto-removal when rules break) so discounts remain correct at checkout.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://bogos-guideline.gitbook.io/user-guide/integration/cart-drawer-apps.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
