Customize Gift slider
Customize Gift Slider is designed to help you adjust the text, colors, layout, and product display of your gift slider. The slider displays all the gift products that customers are eligible to receive and will appear when customers meet the conditions of the offers.
1. Customization options
1.1. General
Gift display: Gift display let you control how free gifts will be presented to your customers. There are two main option for you to choose.
By products: Show gifts as individual products, with variants grouped under each product.
By variants: Display each variant (like size or color) as a separate gift choice.
Grouping: Grouping controls how free gifts are organized and displayed when multiple offers are active.
Show gifts by offers: Gifts are grouped based on the offer they belong to, useful when multiple promotions run at once.
Show all gifts at once: All eligible gifts appear in a single list for quicker browsing.
Products per row: Adjust how many gift items appear in one row to ensure a clean layout.
1.2. Advanced
Product display: This lets you set up how gift products are visually presented, helping customers better interact with the gift offer.
Show product title: Display the main product name.
Show variant title: Show the variant name (e.g., size, color)
Additional display: Improve clarity and user navigation with optional display enhancements.
Show number of gifts can be added: Let customers see how many gift items they can select within the offer.
Show pagination: Add pagination when there are various gift items, keeping the display neat.
Switch to disable slider: This checkbox lets customers temporarily disable the slider. Set the time duration in minutes.
Allow adding multiple gift: Enable customers to select more than one gift.
1.3. Page Display
Show on all pages: Display the offer widget across your entire store site.
Show on specific pages: Choose exactly where the offer will be displayed

1.4. Text
Gift slider title: This is the headline that appears at the top of the gift slider window.
Add to cart button: Name of add to cart button.
Disable slider text: The name of a checkbox that lets customers disable the gift slider and not show it again for a few minutes.
1.5. Color
BOGOS allows you to customize the colors of all elements with any of the 4 methods below:
Choose a ready-made color set from the dropdown.
Manually adjust each color field for all the available colors.
Use AI Theme Detector to auto-generate a full widget color palette based on your store's branding.
Contact the BOGOS support team to get help with color customization.
Click Save when done.
AI Theme Detector
BOGOS AI scans your online store and detects your brand's primary, secondary, and text colors, then generates a full widget color palette automatically.
Your store must NOT be password-protected for AI to access and detect your brand colors.
To edit the colors with BOGOS AI:
Click the pen icon.
Click Scan again to let BOGOS AI re-detect, or manually adjust the Primary color, Secondary color, or Text fields.
Click Apply for preview to apply the colors to the widget preview.
1.6. Embedded Gift Slider into a Product Page
If you don't want to use the gift slider as a pop-up, click Open theme editor to customize your preferred display option (available on Homepage, Collection, Product, and Cart pages only).
Step 1: In the Theme Editor window, navigate to the block you want to add the Gift slider widget
Step 2: In the left sidebar, go to Apps and click Add block.
Step 3: When the window opens, go to Apps, enter "Gift slider" in the search bar, and select BOGOS: Gift Slider.
Step 4: Move the placeholder of Gift slider to your desired position to attract customers and then click Save.
2. Add the Gift Slider to Other Store Pages
Step 1: Navigate to your Online Stores in the Shopify navigation menu => choose Themes => Customize
Step 2: In the Shopify Theme Editor, go to the page where you want to add the Gift slider block.
Then, on the left panel, scroll down, click Add section, choose Apps, find and select BOGOS: Gift slider block.
FAQs
Are there options to help customers quickly find gifts, products, or variants on the gift slider?
Yes! Please contact our support team to enable the “Search” option on the gift slider. Once enabled, customers can easily search by product or variant name.
Is it possible to show the gift pop-up in the cart drawer?
Currently, we can add our gift pop-up in only compatible cart drawer. If you want to do this request, please contact us via live chat, our technical team will check your cart first and then work on it.
I want to control how often the gift popup appears, is that possible?
Yes, you can partially control it using the built‑in “disable slider” option:
Here are the steps to turn on this feature:
Go to BOGOS → Customize → Gift Slider.
In Advanced settings, enable “Switch to disable slider”.
Set the time duration (minutes) – during this time, if the customer ticks that switch, the popup won’t appear again.
Can I automatically hide/disable out-of-stock products from gift selection?
With Cloned gift logic, yes but not by “hiding” them inside the slider settings; you control it via inventory behavior:
Checklist:
In BOGOS → Settings → Gift inventory management, choose “Sync gift products’ quantity with original products’ quantity”.
For When the gift is out of stock, select “Stop the offers” (not “Continue selling”).
Make sure the original product (or cloned gift product, if you use manual inventory) has correct stock in Shopify.
With “Stop the offers” on, once a gift is out of stock, that offer stops, so the out‑of‑stock gift will no longer be available for selection.
With Gift function logic, the out of stock gift will be hidden automatically in the gift slider so you don’t need to do anything.

How to change the order of gift items in the gift pop-up?
In order to change the order of gift items in the gift pop-up, please help me follow these steps:
Going to the offer you create > go to Gift selection
Click at the first icon in front of the gift product title as in my screenshot to change product order
